Communication and Ethics for Safety Leader

Classroom Course

This two-day course is designed to provide participants with a foundation for effective communication and skills to navigate various situations they may encounter as Safety Leaders in the field. During this course participants will gain practical knowledge through group discussions and several activities including: identifying perception errors, development and evaluation of safety messages, conflict resolution, and making difficult decisions.

Course topics include:

  • Conveying Safety Messages
  • Motivation and Perception
  • Conflict Management Strategies
  • NCSO Code of Ethics
  • Decision Making Strategies

Certification:

This course has a written exam component. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 80% for certification.

Leadership for Safety Excellence

None.

To request a refund or transfer, notification must be received two (2) business days prior to scheduled course date or payment will be forfeited.

Using the student entrance please check the board/TV screen and report to your assigned classroom. Check-in starts at 7:30 am. The course begins at 8:00 am.
Government-issued photo ID is required for course attendance.
